Second visit here and it’s a lovely place. ‘Mein Host’ really knows his beers. Excellent atmosphere inside and outside the pub with very friendly locals that made us feel welcome- especially the group of young lads. Only reason we marked our food down was that we both ordered medium rare but was definitely medium+. If I’d have been in a ‘chain’ pub I would have sent them back but didn’t feel that would be fair on the owner- nobody in business can afford to lose money...read full review
Great little pub, very friendly people thanks to Keith and the team for the short notice booking.The ale was spot on, the Sunday roast is how a pub should do.a Sunday roast absolutely cracking , nothing was to much trouble food was fantastic and the ale was ace.We will be back
