It was amazing, very tasty food I loved it but sometimes it was a bit crowded and could take time to get a seat I go with a family of 4 so it is very expensive.

Bar staff very friendly and welcoming which is why i gave a three star review. Food was disappointing to say the least, two roast beef dinners ordered. Gravy was oily and very thin like water. Roast potatoes were not roasted enough. The whole plate of food was lukewarm. Food was taken back to kitchen and returned, but again was still just lukewarm to touch, beef was like leather and the beautiful looking Yorkshire pudding was chewy from being reheated.margerita pizza and chips were satisfactory and I was happy to pay for those items.Bar Staff went out of their way to put things right! Well done to the young lady who helped with that.

Although I had requested a quiet table as we are all oldies, we were told to choose our preferred table. After deciding, I have an eye problem, the Server heard me and pulled the curtain in my eye line without being asked, very helpful.Parking: Plus Disabled parking

Had a lovely meal here food was perfect and the staff were so friendly especially the American guy that served us our meals and desserts he was awsome went above and beyond for us so welcoming. Lovely atmosphere couldn’t fault any of it. We will be back to see you soon. 5 stars all the way
This time we went was the first time after they'd dropped their waiter service for orders. You had to go to the bar to order meals and drinks. Consequently the queues were huge, at least 5 different groups of people waiting to order. There was only one person on the till so every time you needed something on your table, you had to wait for five or more people from other tables to be served first at the cash desk. Really very poor. It just wasn't the same or as good on service point of view. The mains carvery were good, but I ordered the cheesecake and it was disgusting, really horrid, cheesecake with dots of custard and the most revolting raspberry squeegy blobs full of I should think lots of E numbers and never seen any fruit. I'll never buy that again. The wine for a so called medium glass - but was it a small really - was astronomic for what it was. Paying the bill was just as bad another 5 people to queue behind to get to pay your bill. Really I think they need to rethink this pay at the bar system. More than one person at the bar serving drinks and doing the cash till and taking orders is essential. If you are disabled like my husband and left standing just to get served its even more disastrous.

Andy behind the bar was extremely friendly and welcoming. After a busy working week we popped for a drink and he cheered us up. Chatting about what we had been up to and just generally making us feel relaxed and welcome. Not very often seen unfortunately now days so we were impressed. Great customer service, keep it up. The reason for the low mark on food is not related to the quality but the availability visited on Sunday evening 25th February the mixed grill was not available and the Coffee machine was out of order.Revisited on Monday 26th February and the availabilty had not changed.Not good .
