Staff were all friendly. Food was great quality and not only an exciting but also extensive menu. And it was so good we ate there 2 nights running. Really good quality home cooked food with imagination.Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Cambridge area.
Family dinner -early-with daughter /son in law/granddaughter and my wife -It was quiet 630 start but England were playing under 21 football final so plenty of noises off from bar /snooker area !2x prawn risotto chicken milanese pizza and child's carbonara-all very generous portions ,tasty and well presented .Charming young waitress could not do enough for us .Reasonable prices including wine and generally a very good experience .Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu -not just chicken...read full review

We had a table for 11 people, ordered in advance of the meal.Customer service was very good made us feel very welcome.Food was excellent and good size portions.Would recommend The Queens Head to anyone wanting a meal out that was good value and in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
