Pubs in St Ives
“Loved the place. Good service, Atmos & food. Nice views over the river too. Spot on for a lazy lunch at the weekend”
“We have been using this pub for 40 years and were concerned when it was taken over by a brewery. We needn't have worried. The food is tasty and well cooked and the staff excellent.”
“Opened on Sunday for breakfast just for the Legion Riders. Thank you. Fantastic location, I would urge other motorbike groups to contact them. Very obliging.”
“Popped in at lunch for a bit of much needed liquid refreshment on a hot day. Friendly welcome from barstaff, nice garden to sit in and the toasties were lush - served with a nice salad too.Food menu was limited but ended up meeting our needs just fine.”
“Lovely service, good, hearty food. A lovely pub, now our local!Parking: Disabled bays x 12, parent parking x8”
“Booked in here for Sunday lunch with 2 others. Ordered at the bar, decided against the roast as vegetable choice was limited. Chose the lasagne, scampi and veg roast for my mum. All food came as requested and in a timely manner. The two young men who brought the food out were very pleasant. All 3 dinners were very nice and of ample size. The sweets we ordered were a little small to be honest.. my sherry trifle cheesecake sounded amazing, the cold custard sounded very appealing to me but was actually just a few drops on the plate. It did however taste nice.”
“I travel to the area for business every week and use this hotel. It is extremely welcoming and friendly that I always feel at home. The food is top notch in the restaurant and I have always slept soundly in the rooms above; having not been able to hear my neighbours (which is more than I can say for other hotels). The staff are chatty, engaging and very helpful. A great place to stay, with a lovely walk down the river.”
“Very friendly atmosphere and clientele. Excellent fresh home cooked food. Good value for money, good real ale. Comfortable and bright rooms, toilets clean and fresh.”
