Tried Victor Chan's for the first time this evening. We hadn't made a reservation but they managed to squeeze us in. The interior is clean, fresh and more chic than most chinese restaurants. The service was impeccable - efficient, friendly and attentive but without being too invasive. The food was delicious, every dish piping hot, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Eaten here a few times over the years. The food is usually good. I'm told it's always busy, which would help with the atmosphere, but I've never seen more than a few people in there which has made it feel rather flat for me. On the most recent visit in Aug-2023, the staff stopped paying attention after we had first ordered, so we didn't get dessert or coffee which was a shame. Even trying to get the bill was difficult.
