“We were staying in the area and dined there 3 evenings. The meal was excellent, service and atmosphere very good. Great value for money.”

“We walked past this little restaurant during a summer event when the town centre was closed to vehicles and made a mental note to go and try it some time. Today was the day and we walked in about 12 noon to a warm welcome. Although we had no booking we were given a table for 2, leaving only one more table apparently unreserved. The menu covers all tastes Italian, By the time starters arrived a few minutes later, the place was slowly filling with the regular lunchtime trade. The simple Antipasta starter was excellent. The mains ( we had Lasagne and a house special Maiale Marsala) instantly transported us back to wonderful meals in Italian Trattoria's. Flavoursome and distinctly different to formulaic meals from larger establishments. This was food to savour. Now as we write this review, the taste of this meal lingers and all we want is more. The portions are just right. This is a small family run business and it deserves great success. Booking is really to be encouraged, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have secured a table. The prices are very resonable considering the quality, 1 starter, 2 mains, a desert, a bottle of house wine and finally a coffee for £45 is very good value.Thank you for a lovely mealJ & J”
