A large group of ladies had the two course Christmas menu. Fabulous service and wonderful food. The food was beautifully presented. Well done. The only negative was that the room could have been warmer.
This is a great pub set in the back streets of Alderley Edge. In summertime, there is plenty of outside dining, while in winter, the spacious areas are comfortable and relaxed. Log burners make a lovely attraction on a cold day after a dog walk on the Edge. This pub is dog friendly, which makes it a favourite for me. We arranged a family Christmas lunch for four generations from 6 to 94, (plus Winston the Labrador), from Oxfordshire, Cheshire and Scotland to meet. I cannot thank the excellent staff enough for help making this perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Not just good service but real care and attention. Thank you everyone.
