Food was really good! 10/10. Only thing was the wait time for the bill, I get they were busy as it was mother's day but we asked 3 times and I had to look for someone in the end. Still really good day out, highly recommend for a family putting. 5 *Parking: Not a lot of parking spaces in the car park at the restaurant and there is parking just outside the restaurant on the street but is paid, 3hours.

Went for my wife's birthday a few weeks ago, in a great spot on the riverside in Chester.Lot's to choose from on the menu, food was super quick, hot, fresh and very tasty.A nice touch bringing the dessert out with a celebration sparkler on too.

As an American who has moved full time to the UK, this is a very American restaurant. Was busy on a Saturday night but can't fault the service. Food came out in a very reasonable time and was hot and tasty.

Came from out of town for my birthday. Decided to eat here. Wish we hadn’t!.There was no check back done on our food, cold, soggy Fajitas. Hugh lump of fat in my pulled pork and beans, cold Ribs . Completely disappointing food. Waiter asked on clearing our full plates “Was everything ok” I said no.He said “oh”.No manager came over no nothing. Poor customer service.I asked for the managers/Head chefs name on duty. Pickle and Sherry. Poor service and shockingly poor food..

Good place, overall it was a really good experience, I’ve never had such as a delicious ice tea before as here. Food was a bit overfried, oily and salty , but still enjoyable. Free water and popcorn before meal.Staff is really friendly. Cleanliness wasn’t spot on and the place has a dress code that people didn’t really seem to follow. Menu is really nice, not the usual “boring” one, you can choose from many things that you can’t get anywhere else, so we will definitely be back. ?Parking: A few parking place right in front of the restaurant but that is always full and for limited time, there is a huge parking place called Little Roddee car park at the end of the street which is 5 minutes walk, £6 for a day, after 6pm it’s only £1.5.

We already loved Hickory’s, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion worth celebrating. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service and the food is always absolutely delicious. After our experience tonight they’ve somehow exceeded the high bar they’ve set! We went for my boyfriends birthday, when he headed to the bathroom I asked the waitress (who was absolutely fantastic by the way, recommending a number of tasty cocktails) if she would mind bringing a milkshake over at the end of the meal alongside some tickets which I gave her. I’d booked an NYC trip for his birthday and wanted to surprise him. She was happy to help and at the end of the meal, not only did she bring the tickets over with the milkshake, she brought a full hamper of American beers, popcorn and other USA related items. It really really marked the occasion and made it extra special- the definition of going above and beyond. The manager also came over to ask about the trip and congratulated us which was a lovely touch. I’m not one to write a review but honestly one of the loveliest experiences I’ve had and very grateful for the team!
