Lovely pub with a great

Nice Biscuit

Visited for first time as a result of an invitation to the open mic night. Lovely pub - really friendly behind the bar, and had a really very nice pint indeed. Music pretty good, (with the possible exception of the bits I was playing). I’ll come back and likely try the food.

Sorry hate to say it but only had a drink. The weather was lovely went in the beer garden. It needed a damn good clean. The pub was very much in need of a clean and make over. Hate giving a bad review but there you go.

Been here many times when visiting friends in Congleton, friendly feel to the place and a great selection of Joules beers on offer.

This is a pub to be wary of. I walked in feeling fine, but on leaving, my legs felt wobbly and the whole planet seemed unstable. I can't remember what I drank, but it was dark and lovely. Perhaps I was suffering from dehydration and should have drunk a little more.I do recall the food being remarkably well priced, the decor and ambiance is quite eclectic, but is very homely.I will definitely go again.

Very nice bar. Would recommend visiting for the excellent beers. The interior and outside seating areas are really nicely decorated and clean. They don't do food.

Overall disappointing Pub..High price for an average Beer in a town where you can get the same or better for half the price..No wonder Pubs are closing ?
