“First visit to this pub on the Congleton Jass Festival weekend & such a great atmosphere on arrival there, the pub was really busy but was still able to get served quickly at the bar & able to get a seat.It also has a great seating area at the back of the pub with plenty of seating. Not sure if it does food though.”
“Lacey and Craig made us feel so welcome. Perfect pair to have the Rams head I wish them all the best. Perfect people to take over. Definitely going to be a regular.”
“Only called in for a quick pint and not from the area. I was made welcome and its a good beer. Friendly staff and punters, good service. Would go again”
“Visited for first time as a result of an invitation to the open mic night. Lovely pub - really friendly behind the bar, and had a really very nice pint indeed. Music pretty good, (with the possible exception of the bits I was playing). I’ll come back and likely try the food.”
“Good old pub with good prices ale don't expect posh but great place watch the sports”
“Nice venue, visited twice now for the Congleton blues festival to watch The Marauders. It's a nice pub, beer garden is multilevel. Band is usually on the lower level with everbody viewing from Overhead. Gets very busy, bit crowded but great atmosphere.Has a pop up fresh pizza stall on occasion.Love the beartown ale, great pint.”
