“Old British pub with a low roof. Not too much choice of IPAs on tap. More for the elderly crowd in my opinion.
Easy place to grab a pint and have a chat.
Service was fast and bartender was chatty with us which is always a bonus.
Good location too.”

The venue is small but was very comfortable, very welcoming and the bar staff were brilliant. They have a great selection of beers and the wine deal is very good value. I'd definitely visit again x”

Pubs • “Visited this 2024 CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub with Boothroyd Bear. He loves being in Beartown. This locals pub still proudly displays its Boddingtons heritage by the outside sign. I might have been here in the 1970's when ticking off Boddies pubs. Four real ales. Had a lovely pint of Black Hole Brewery Cosmic. A 4.2% beer.”
