Lovely little bar/pub, independent as well. Spoke with an owner who is a lovely chap, told us a little story of this town (and bears).Decent prices, they do food pop ups. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area!

Great pub with a very friendly and cosy atmosphere. There are lots of local sales to try. It’s also dog friendly which is a bonus. Jasmine is always lovely and welcoming whenever we visit. It’s well worth a trip out.

Lovely bar. Good atmosphere and live music on the Saturday, pleasant surroundings and decent beers though it's a pity there wasn't a mild or stout on. There was a menu on the table so we decided to order something so asked at the bar where we order. Was directed to a hatch outside where we were told they were no longer serving food! It was 8-15pm. You'd have thought the bar staff would have known and why leave the menus which don't have the serving times on them on the tables.

Nice pub. The bar staff and the menu said that food is offered until 9,supposedly, but we went down at 8.30 and were told by the staff that they'd stopped serving food ,which was disappointing.

Nice venue, visited twice now for the Congleton blues festival to watch The Marauders. It's a nice pub, beer garden is multilevel. Band is usually on the lower level with everbody viewing from Overhead. Gets very busy, bit crowded but great atmosphere.Has a pop up fresh pizza stall on occasion.Love the beartown ale, great pint.

Went to the pub quiz, which is on a Wednesday night, and had a fantastic evening. Definitely going back again. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
