This little cafe offers freshly made, baked and cooked food of the highest standard. Ian is a chef who takes pride in cooking tasty treats such as his French onion soup which is a meal in itself and a firm favourite of mine. A lovely venue in a great antiques centre. Two good reasons to visit Congleton.
Always enjoy having lunch or afternoon tea here as there is often something just a bit different on the specials board. The French onion soup when available is vegetarian and a must-have and for afternoon tea I can definitely recommend the homemade cakes and bakes. ;-) Friendly, fast service and a relaxed atmosphere to boot. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have visited The Loft Cafe many times and have always found Chef Ian and his staff to be helpful and efficient. His food is superb, plenty of it and very good value. His toasties and oatcakes are delicious. Good coffee and cakes, what more could you want? We recommend The Loft to anyone who wants a very tasty and substantial lunch.
