Great night, lovely staff and the landlord and landlady are so friendly and welcoming, very extensive range of gins and vodkas and the bar staff are quick so not a long wait, smoking area undercover with the added bonus of a heat lamp ?

Cheap and cheerful with what seems to be a menagerie of animals periodically wandering around 2 sausage dogs and a great Dane ??. " Puddin" jumped behind us and got on the window sill where she stayed for a good 5 minute belly rub and gave my forehead and ears a damn good clean - so that's 4 big drinks, a bag of crisps and a face wash for less than £15 bargain.

This mockery of an establishment singled me and a single friend out in my friendship group for wearing branded shorts on the hottest day of the year. The so called land lord proceeded to walk on Infront of us in under armour shorts with this being okay. Considering the 20 degree sweltering heat I don't think shorts an unreasonable item of clothing with these clowns that run the door AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE IT JUDGES YOU ON YOUR LOOKS!!!

Visited for the first time before and after a comedy gig at the Lyceum. What a fabulous pub, great atmosphere, cheap beers, staff and punters all having a great time. Security staff and dj were great fun. Loved it.

A strong landlord and landlady have just taken this pub over. I have a great deal of respect for them. They keep the beer well at excellent prices. Keep up the good work and see you soon x.
