We've been coming here for 13 years. We've yet to find another curry restaurant which matches the Holdi for quality of food, and there's been some considerable research in that time. Holdi is our go to number 1 curry house. Outstanding food every time. Particularly recommend the prawn rogan.

You know a place is good when it is busy on a Monday evening. We went about 7pm and it was pleasantly full. Everything was seemless. We were seated quickly, menus given, drinks order taken, food order taken etc in a timely way. We shared poppadums and a chutney tray, then I had a chicken karahi and my partner had a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice. On a recent trip to the Wirral for some medical treatment my nurse recommended Holdi to me. And I have to say I’m glad she did. The meal was reasonably priced. A really good choice of dishes. It was all really tasty. If I am ever back up this way again I would definitely revisit here for a good meal. It was very busy even for midweek so appears to be popular in the area and I can see why.
