“We stumbled across the George & Dragon in Tarvin whilst walking the dog as we were looking for a relaxing dog friendly pub for a quick bite to eat. First impressions were good and on asking about where we could sit with the dog we were pleasantly surprised to find out how dog friendly this pub is, basically anywhere except the restaurant. The staff here were super helpful and friendly and looked after us efficiently without being overbearing - a difficult balance to get right. We ordered a couple of drinks and some food from the lunch menu which arrived quickly and was hot, fresh from the kitchen. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and we would certainly visit again if we are in the area.”
