It was a pleasant atmosphere, where you can step out into the lovely Ashton gardens before or after a meal. A great place for a coffee, meal and a chat. The staff were prompt and friendly, the food was delicious, especially their signature burger meal and portion sizes were generous. Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in the area for a few days, we turned to TA for help finding a morning coffee stop within walking distance. This place ticked all boxes. Friendly staff, nice surroundings, good coffee and delicious cinnamon toast. Other people's breakfasts looked good too.

Stopped off here with my sister this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I have been to St Annes more times than I care to remember, but had never even realised this was here. Its a lovely old building, not tampered with which is lovely, the food was excellent, and all the staff, without exception, were friendly and efficient, even the ones not serving us,smiled back if we caught their eye,and having been in far too many places where the staff seem to see their customers as a nuisance and barely interact with you at all, this was a real treat. We shall look forward to visiting again.

Visited this cafe on a day trip. I went up to the counter to order tea for two and two small squares of cake. I was really taken aback when the girl serving said £12.80. The cake squares were £4.00 each so I declined to purchase 2 and only ordered 1. I paid £8.20 but on sitting down and checking my change I only has 80p but didn’t go back as I saw the waitress pointing at my husband and I laughing. She then came to our table to ask if the cake was o k. I used the ladies toilet and the toilet roll dispenser was empty and generally grubby. There was 5 staff on so maybe instead of making customers feel uncomfortable someone should be checking the toilets. The teapot was not very clean. I would never ever go to this cafe again and wouldn’t recommend.

Nice lunch, boys loved the quality of the burgers, children's meals excellent, venue and staff very pleasant. Love the artwork. Great location in a well maintained Ashton Park. However points lost as the table felt sticky though it had been wiped down (a 4 year old noticed this) - possibly a build up of detergent - the cutlery was similar, like it hadn't been rinsed properly - and the loos were very poor, badly maintained, flush didn't work, tissue everywhere and it really needed a deep clean. I know it was a busy day but Get it sorted and pick those points up again as we'd like to revisit!

We had a lovelly breakfast and staff were excellent. The children enjoyed the food too. Restaraunt was clean and well laid out.1 Just on gripe, the toilets need a. Coat of paint and for £20 replace the toilet seats as they are a disgrace, this is constructive info, other than that great place

Dog friendly indoor and outdoor Brunch trip - great food and service but there was a let down element… Amazing friendly attentive serving team. Prompt food and drink service and the food was great! Really nice and full of flavour. We had the Benedict’s- salmon, sausage and bacon options. All great. But sadly, the gents toilets are bad. Like really bad. Not clean. Very tired and worn and the toilet doesn’t flush. I had to wash my hands again after using the toilet door then open it with tissue. Such a shame as it’s the only thing that’s let the place down and would prevent me returning.

Arrived at 1.45pm and was greeted and given a table. Guy came to take the order at 1.50pm and I noticed a sign saying there was a wait for food up to 30 minutes. No problem thought we could sit and chat, had an appointment at 3.15 but thought even with a 30 minute wait still plenty of time. Order sandwich and panini so wouldn’t take long to eat anyway. It got to 2.20pm and the guy came over and asked if we would like any sauces with our food to which we replied no Thankyou. Bearing in mind we still didn’t have our food at this point. It got to 2.30pm so I approached the counter and asked how long our food would be and explained we had somewhere to be. The guy asked another member of staff who pointed at the up to 30 minute sign. At this point it was 40 minutes we had been waiting, he went away and came back at 2.35pm and said there was another order to go and then it was ours. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving. Whilst we were in there we witnessed 2 young girls ask 3 times if their portion of chips were coming and they had ordered before us. A woman at another table asked for a burger and was told they were finished and then we saw burgers being served after she had chosen and got her meal. Seemed to be an abundance of staff but not much going on, kitchen staff standing chatting with front of house staff. We went there because it was recommended but we won’t be back.

Varied menu, good service. Waitress excellent & very helpful. Good value for money although the ham, egg & chips on the specials menu was huge & rather over-facing for the two friends who had ordered this. Despite this boxes were provided for leftovers. Excellent value- will definitely return.

Came here on a sunny weekend for breakfast. Food was delicious, couldn't fault it. Good to see it being dog friendly also there was plenty of well behaved dogs outside. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I will be back.

Cheap produce. Gone downhill big-time. Bad attitude all round. They say they're dog-friendly but don't believe it. I was refused water in my own small dish, for my old Lhasa Apso. 'Bowls outside' I was told but I was inside and had been waiting over 30 minutes to have my order taken. When it did arrive, I was absolutely disgusted at the low grade produce. Eggs Benedict with floppy, fatty, thick, fried bacon and miniature, cheap eggs. It was deliver one hour and ten minutes after it was ordered, when the board said there would be a 30 minute wait for food and drinks. The manager is particularly ignorant with never a 'please', 'thank you' or 'sorry' in his vocabulary. One person in the kitchen is laughable for the number of tables they have both inside and out. Pay more staff in the kitchen and front of house taking orders if you must increase the number of tables and PLEASE provide water for guide dogs whether they are inside or outside. My companion's guide dog was parched with no desire to sit outside in the sun having worked all morning. Not allowed to give order at the counter unless sitting outside but couldn't even take payment at the table, when requested. Never again. People need to know about this degradation of produce and service.
