This was not our planned destination, but so glad it became it! We were due to meet at the Fox and Hound, one of us having travelled from Kent, bringing two kittens that were destined for forever homes in Lancashire. My role was to help with the NW leg to enable my friend to avoid adding a further 150 miles to her round trip. The Fox and Hounds refused to allow her in with her carrier and kittens. Had the Christmas menu on Dec 20th with my wife and son, we had two courses which were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Next time we are back in the UK we will definitely drop in again!

Visited last night for the Xmas fayre menu. Absolutely fantastic delicious meal. Who knew sprouts could taste so divine.. genuinely the parsnip and carrot could have been the main event absolutely delicious. As for the Bailey's Brulee I'm still dreaming of it. The staff were truly gorgeous so polite. Keep up the good work we will be back xx
