What a fantastic place to be over Christmas and New Year. The place was buzzing with people - great conversation, great beer, great spirits and fantastic staff. Emma the landlady has raised the pub to a level where everyone has a fabulous time whatever age you are. Highly recommend

I was staying in the local area and needed somewhere to watch the football, I emailed Emma at the Builders Arms and she very kindly offered to put it on for me. We had a lovely, warm welcome and felt very at home. Nice clean local pub, good beers, good value, very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back if in the area again. Thanks Emma!

A 'Tardis' indeed. From the cosy front rooms (Lounge and Tap) the facilities extend outside to a large beer garden and covered patio area. A 'must visit' for a trip to remember and return to.Lovely landlady, Emma, who has lived in the town for ages and knows exactly what both the locals and welcome visitors are looking for.This place has had it's ups and downs over the years but while Emma stays the only way is UP!

Little Pub with packed with surprises! Just out of Knutsford Town centre (5 minute walk) this Hidden Gem has something for everyone. On a hot summer evening with the sun setting traditional pub benches sit on the old cobbles for anyone to relax and sample their tipple of choice. Moving inside chose between the lounge bar to the right or the tap room on the left both exceling with friendly vibe offering great beers (cask and keg), a selection of great wines and an extensive selection of both spirits and soft drinks. For anyone wishing more, walk through to the back where a large beer garden awaits, complete with covered seated decking area (heated) to be complimented with an enclosed lawned garden and planted out borders together with play area for future drinkers. Regular evening entertainment includes: Poker (Monday), Quiz nights (Thursdays, monthly) and music evenings (check web for details) plus various outside weekend events throughout the summer. A known secret for locals and a MUST for visitors wanting a warm welcome. After years of just drifting (and COVID!) with Emma in situ it seems the only way is up.

You’re in the right place with Sky and TNT showing all major events.. It’s cosy, warm and the staff are very attentive.. Well worth a trip, oh, did I tell you about the beer garden? It’s huge! ?
Love this place, it's now my go to pub. Emma has done an amazing job in the past year, she has brought this little gem to life.Quizz night was amazing. The quiz master was hilarious and took the heckling and threw it back with great gusto. Quizz was great and the pub was packed. Entry was by a bag of warm clothes for the homeless, such a great idea. Box of celebrations on the bar at the end of the night was just what we needed after laughing so much. Can't wait for the next one on NYE.Next visit is on the 9th Dec for her anniversary party.No food yet but bbq's in the summer ?⛱️Well done Emma, keep on going. Looking forward to many garden parties next summer ?Kid-friendliness: Great enclosed garden with a.wooden climbing frame at the end.

I’ve been here a number of times now and each time has been lovely. I discovered the pub in summer as was told about its large private beer garden which is secure for both dogs and children trying to escape! Emma the land lady is so welcoming, and has a great team. The pub quiz on a Thursday is well worth a look and 1/2 time snacks are put on. I think I’ve found my new local…..
