Bar • “Avoid at weekendsI treat myself to breakfast here on a weekday about once a month or so and can’t fault it. Quick service, plenty of room, great food and experienced staff. However, on occasion I make the mistake of giving it a go after a weekend walk and always leave disappointed. Staffing never seems sufficient, and those that are there seem to be mixed with “work experience” level staff. Ok so they have to train people at some point, but I’d say another time would be better, a busy weekend would really benefit from the best people serving. As the village swells with people at the weekend, looking for somewhere to eat after a trip round the village it just ends up with queues out the door and long waits for the sighing customers, who just want a drink and bite to eat.So weekdays, brilliant, weekends, yet to enjoy it.”

Bar • “6 of us ate here and none of us was aware that the wrap was hidden in the base of a kebab holder. Shame on you for not informing us that they were hidden under the small dish. The food was nice even though you gave me and one of my sister's the wrong dishes.”

“Beautiful surroundings and next to St Mary's Church in Lymm. Lymm Dam being just a little further up. The ice cream was the best I've ever tasted, I chose Candyfloss. The Sausage roll had huge meat content and was fairly priced.”
