I’ve been here a few times, including for my birthday meal, and keep going back because it’s a cosy, friendly and unpretentious pub with an extremely well kept and decent pint. Seen some of the reviews on here and yes, on one occasion they clearly had a staff shortage but they worked hard to keep up. I always find the staff very pleasant and welcoming. Lovely Sunday lunch. Pleasant and attentive staff. Live music on when we were there around 12.30. We found a table in the corner so it was pleasant but had we been any closer, it would have been a bit too loud for us.

We found this cosy little pub on a walk through Lymm whilst visiting family and my oh my, are we glad we did! It’s a hidden Cheshire jewel. Food, staff, drinks, decoration - everything was fantastic. Highly recommend the sea bass ?
