“Avoid at weekendsI treat myself to breakfast here on a weekday about once a month or so and can’t fault it. Quick service, plenty of room, great food and experienced staff. However, on occasion I make the mistake of giving it a go after a weekend walk and always leave disappointed. Staffing never seems sufficient, and those that are there seem to be mixed with “work experience” level staff. Ok so they have to train people at some point, but I’d say another time would be better, a busy weekend would really benefit from the best people serving. As the village swells with people at the weekend, looking for somewhere to eat after a trip round the village it just ends up with queues out the door and long waits for the sighing customers, who just want a drink and bite to eat.So weekdays, brilliant, weekends, yet to enjoy it.”

“I have 2 young children so this place is gold! The staff and friendly and engaging there is a toddler group that is super friendly. Sanctuary is the perfect name as when you walk in a sense of calm surrounds you. A real find.”

“A gem of a cafe! Tucked away behind the road with a lovely outdoor terrace. The menu selection is so varied. My gluten free friend was well catered for as were vegetarian and vegans. I had the tastiest chicken shawarma wrap. I'm still thinking about it now! We also tried their mushroom coffee which had such a strong aroma but tasted so smooth. I wouldn't normally do desserts but everything was so good I needed to try their cakes. I had the snicker brownie which was nice and gooey in the middle (forgot to take a picture). They also had a choc chip GF alternative. If you're ever in Lymm you must try here ?”
