Great food and nice friendly staff. I had the full English breakfast and misuss mushroom toast was lovely. Accommodated all the kids requests too. Definitely would go again if we are in the area again!

We often cycle from Sale to Lymm and The Coffee House do great food and drinks that keep us going on the return trip. Fabulous breakfast and sausage butties. Staff are lovely too.

Avoid at weekendsI treat myself to breakfast here on a weekday about once a month or so and can’t fault it. Quick service, plenty of room, great food and experienced staff. However, on occasion I make the mistake of giving it a go after a weekend walk and always leave disappointed. Staffing never seems sufficient, and those that are there seem to be mixed with “work experience” level staff. Ok so they have to train people at some point, but I’d say another time would be better, a busy weekend would really benefit from the best people serving. As the village swells with people at the weekend, looking for somewhere to eat after a trip round the village it just ends up with queues out the door and long waits for the sighing customers, who just want a drink and bite to eat.So weekdays, brilliant, weekends, yet to enjoy it.

This is the third time we have visited The Coffee House, the first time we got nothing and left the second time we got food hooray but no drinks and the third time today we got drinks but no food. Today I have to say was the worst experience unfortunately and we won't go again. We sat outside and waited first for a menu maybe twenty minutes then for our order to be taken maybe twenty minutes at which time i went inside to order as i thought it would be quicker. I was told I wasn't allowed to order food (quite rudely and with a roll of eye there was a delay on food) and could only order drinks which i did. Another half an hour the drinks were bought out and and we asked if we could order food again another roll of the eye and she would be back outside another half an hour nothing so we left. As we walked back through the cafe had it been busy we might have felt differently but there was literally one table with two people on it. We will never return again.

Went on a Sunday morning at 11am time and got there just in time as a queue started not long after we arrived. We just ordered 3 hot drinks (2 chai lattes and Americano) prompt service. Nice atmosphere and good people watching
Great coffee shop. Coffee and tiffin spot on. Manageress was a bit miserable but she might have been having a bad day??

Big food selection, a few vegetarian options and plant based milk available. The tomato mozzarella panini was good, the sides were even better: potato salad and a regular salad with mustard dressing, which was lovely. Friendly staff.
