After being closed 4 weeks for renovations, it's brighter & kept some of the original features. Overall much improved & fab beer garden.New beers on tap too!

Next time think before you review."Never happened and the pub is under new management now. Just saying, it's a bit strange that someone not present when I reviewed 5 years ago is responding to this with such a peculiar accusation. Next time think before you respond ;)Original review (3 stars): Beers OK, atmosphere is good but it could do with a bit of a clean and tidy. All staff seemed friendly apart from 1 female staff member who was a little rude

This is a good old school local pub decent price for a drinks and good atmosphere - unlike these pretentious pub/restaurants that charge £5 a beer again robbing bastardos
