1 Booth Ln, MiddlewichWalking home from a friend's house, the rain was that bad and given I'd left my boat in my other jeans I dived into this place.The welcome was very warming and they had a good range of beers (I wasn't planning on drinking but duck it).Went on to have great convo with a whole gang of locals and staff. Transpired to be one of those lovely moments where we knew the same people / grew up in the same place.The chap behind the bar was really friendly and genuine too.I might accidently on purpose find myself in here again!

Visited twice on our trip up the canal and back. It will be a regular watering hole from now on. No food served, whilst we were there, but a good selection of bar snacks

Reasonable amount of parking with the addition of a farm shop, very small garden nursery and a few other shops. Out of town area so plenty of fresh air. Seating inside and some sheltered outside. Excellent cooked breakfast is a good choice. Easy access for wheel chairs and buggies. One spacious toilet in the cafe. Krunchies have been great, consistent quality, good portion sizes and not overly priced. Everything we’ve had has been great, very tasty.We’ve noticed that KFC have been rubbish of late, in our opinion Krunchies is better.Ignore the negative comment’s and give them a go.

But as we live overseas where it’s commonplace we are used to this so not a problem for us. The service and food was delicious ! Had chicken tikka dansak and lamb jalfrezi. Peshwari nan and onion Bahji. The portion sizes were perfect. We often get way too much at other restaurants and hate seeing it go to waste but here we ate everything. I gave a 4 star for atmosphere as would be nice to have some Indian style music playing like at other restaurants. Other than that very enjoyable meal .

I have tried all different chinese restaurants and have always ended up returning to this one. The chicken chow mein, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, shredded chilli beef, spring rolls, salt and pepper chips, special fried rice... all delicious! Highly recommend. Great for carnivores and vegetarians alike.Vegetarian options: My youngest is a vegetarian and we never have issues finding something for him to eat.
