Moving up from the Southwest I was worried the chip shop’s up here wouldn’t cut it. We were pointed in the direction of the Kings Lock and have been nowhere else since, the shop is amazing. Food is great, portions and quality excellent, the staff are so friendly and efficient!Steak pudding…….Where have you been all of my life!!! No longer will I suffer with a crusty old Pukka pie!

Was just visiting the area, and the pub staff across the road recommended it as they weren't serving food. I ordered my food, then went back for a couple of pints and picked my order up right on their closing time.Lovely fish and lovely staff.
