Staff were really flexible and helpful when our son didn’t fancy anything on the kids menu (it was a bit boring to be fair as most pub kids menus are)Lovely food, lovely staff, would visit again if in the area.”

Bar • “Absolutely delicious food. The menu was short, which to me is always a telling sign of quality food. The staff were attentive and came back to check with us. We had an issue with our order which was quickly resolved. My partner and myself have recently moved into the area and The Leopard is leagues above everywhere else we've been. The atmosphere and interior decor were top notch.Vegetarian options: The Mac n'4 cheese was delicious!”

Bar • “Live in the area, so went in here for the first time yesterday 7th November. Lovely restaurant, but being a vegetarian I noticed a very limited menu. Set menu for vegetarian and that was all. I ordered a side vegetable dish, of the two available, explaining to the waitress that I didn't eat meat, and could I have it as a main. So I ate a very simple meal. When we got home and looked at their website, they had a large choice of vegetarian meals, on a vegetarian menu! Not sure why we weren't given that menu, but next time I'll ask for it.”

The quality of the meal was superb and the service was excellent.We ordered across the tapas menu and the dishes were ready within minutes of each other arriving piping hot and absolutely delicious.Kid-friendliness: Our young grandson was made to feel just as important as any of the adults in the group and had a good time.”
Bar • “Stayed for 2 nights and had 2 rooms. One room was renovated and one wasn't. Food in the evening was good and breakfast was ok too. I would say the place is a little on the expensive side but if they manage to renovate all their rooms then that would be a massive plus.”
“We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean).”
