Ten of us went for dinner at the Farmers Arms last night.Both the service and food were absolutely fantastic!! I had sweet chilli chicken sizzler, with wraps, dips and rice and it was fabulous! I was trying to be good and resist the desserts, but when I saw the pavlova, I couldn't resist! Walked here from the canal and welll worth a visit. Very friendly staff and very dog friendly as well. I didn't have a meal so can't comment on on the food other than it looked nice!If you're looking for a rural, friendly pub - you've found it.

I had the steak pie with rock hard pastry, (probably microwaved I was told); but packed full of steak in a lovely gravy, with delicious chips like I haven't tasted for a long time anywhere and a welcome carrots and peas on the side.I'd eat there again and take the steak pie again more than likely.Kid-friendliness: A couple of under 12 children were there with their parents, well behaved I thought - and so were the children.
