Only ever been here once and it was a Saturday night. It's lively with a good atmosphere but it gets extremely crowded. Couldn't move in one side. Obviously a decent pub or it wouldn't be full to the brim with people.
Called here on a Friday afternoon with friends for a few drinks.A very busy bar area and a nice atmosphere.Good range of beers and real ales are available. Friendly and welcoming staff.Dogs are allowed in the bar area (to the right of the front door)I would call here again.

3 meals and 3 halves of cask. Almost a 5 for the food. My homemade chicken tikka pie of the day was great, but could have benefitted from a little pot of curry sauce, just to add a bit of extra moisture. Other meals were both pretty much perfect: homemade veggie quiche and curry goat were the choices.Vegetarian options: The homemade quiche is always a veggie one.
