Our first experience at Kennedy's American Diner today and it was brilliant, huge thank you to the lovely gentleman who looked after us. We generally don't eat out much with our 9 year old Autistic daughter but today was so easy.When I asked for just plain chips, the gentlemen straight away said yes I'll get them made with no salt or pepper, I didn't even have to ask which was so lovely. We went at 11:30 on New year's day. The service was slow but that's because they had had no customers and were down 2 staff. It filled up, the atmosphere was good. The food came and was good. Excellent buttermilk pancakes, good sausage patties and eggs. Good coffee. Staff young and chatty and friendly. Enjoyable.

After eating here I wondered why it only had 4 stars, the service was fantastic the food really great, its a lovely clean and pleasant place, well read some of the petty reviews and to be given 1 star by what they said , boohoo they wouldn't serve me 15 minutes before they close for goodness sake some people need to grow up and remove the petty 1 star reviews. This place is definitely a 5 star in my eyes not 1 problem congratulations folks.
