Three of us called in here for a meal and a drink. Food was excellent, staff were pleasant and not intrusive, a couple of good ales on tap. We will be calling back in the near future.

We weren't over impressed. Not a great choice of food. Mostly the usual burgers. The waitress was chewing gum. It was not a great dining experience.
Was here for a wedding but the staff couldn't do enough. Will definitely be going back soon.

The tip is an old haunt from my best why can I just called in for old time sake have a quick drink always like this pub is that a bit of character of course is right next to the anderton boat lift it does good food at a reasonable price has excellent service with friendly staff must pop in again sometime soon
