Our 50th wedding anniverary booked for 9 at 6.30pm a with the family. No low alcohol wine, no mixed grill ran out of cider. Waited ages for the food got it when the place was nearly empty of diners. Not that good when we got it. Nice pub but won't be eating there again in a hurry.

I run a home for adults with learning disabilities and it was one of their birthdays so I booked a table for the 10 on us. The staff were really amazing, the food was lovely everyone enjoyed what they had ordered and it was very reasonably priced. Staff even brought his birthday cake out with the candles on so we could sing happy birthday. I highly recommend Weavers whistle in Lostock GralamDietary restrictions: Staff were very diligent in checking dietary requirements before food was served

Haven't been to the Weaver's Whistle for a meal and drinks in a while so my wife and I decided to visit this evening. Enjoyed a lovely tasty meal together. The ambience was very relaxing and cosy the bar staff friendly and cheerful as always. Our Server for the evening Mia was very polite, friendly and proffessional ensuring our visit was enjoyable. And it was enjoyable. This is a dog friendly family pub restaurant with a very large free car park with 2 EV charging bays. 2 function rooms. wheelchair accessible parking. Wheelchair accessible entrances. Wheelchair accessible wc's. Baby change room. This is a very large pub restaurant with a children's cinema area and book corner. Play area outside for children. Heated smoking shelter outside. As well as seating and tables outside. This is a well maintained family pub restaurant very clean and well presented.

Had the best cheese burger I've ever tasted , chargrilled beef patty, juicy with melted cheese and fresh crispy salad , only criticism would be not enough chips. But the burger was

We arrived at 5.15pm on Mother's Day to find the restaurant relatively busy. We had not booked and waited a short time for a table. Other customers had placed their belongings on the table and the staff made no offer or attempt to clean the table.I ordered the food, a mixture of menu items and carvery. The menu item arrived quickly, without the opportunity for people to visit the carvery to be able to eat together. No cutlery was provided, and when requested was not sufficient for 4 people. The food was not good. The menu item, a burger, was exceptionally small in size for the price. The carvery was worse. There was no turkey, stuffing or mashed potato, the reason given was that it was late (5.30pm by this point.) The meat that was present was poor quality, very fatty and inedible in parts. The gravy was basically brown flavourless water and the vegetables were over done. All in all, not worth the £58.51 I spent and I will be contacting the establishment.

The carvery food wasn't as good this week as when came a week ago. The cauliflower was overcooked but the roast potatoes were undercooked and there wasn't any mint sauce. Other than that it was good but not great.

Twice I've eaten here in two weeks, both times the Staff was extremely friendly and punctual. Food was quick and spot on. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area again.
