St. John's Cafe Shop
Roundy Ln, MacclesfieldWhat a charming little cafe! We visited as a large group of cyclists (our kind leaders had let them know in advance) and spent a lovely half hour there under the community orchard apple trees (I have made crumble with the apples we were encouraged to take, thank you so much!) drinking freshly made barista coffee and eating delicious homemade cake. Our first visit will definitely not be our last ?

The Cask Tavern
42 Park Ln, Poynton, StockportA grade 2 listed building in the centre of Poynton offering a family and animal friendly atmosphere and making everyone feel welcome.
They have a great selection of local ales on tap and friendly staff who will always do their best to accommodate for patrons and make everyone feel welcome.
The bar does not offer food but they are happy for patrons to bring their own food in to eat.
There is wheelchair access available to enter the bar but be warned that there is no toilet access as the toilets are upstairs and renovations are not permitted.

There is an average wait for food when the pub is busy, but the food can arrive well before the drinks ordered at the same time due to the online drink order queue. Can wait over 30mins for a drink ordered online. Even though the bar has a queue still quicker to order from there.

90 Park Ln, Poynton, StockportKyle Allen George - was superb - most helpful, friendly service and good rapport - the mushy peas with the gammon made it (even though the pineapple chunks had gone missing) cheers Kyle the blond streaks were great !
