There is something very comforting in going to restaurant which just keeps doing excellent food and superb service, with a menu which never changes! This was a meal for my partner's Birthday and sad to say we hadn't visited for 3 years. I had dinner here last night with three friends. We all had lasagne with garlic and fresh bread to share. Three of us had dessert- crème brûlée, cheesecake and I had tiramisu (my favourite!). The food was fantastic and we had a really good evening

The Italian Jewel in Runcorn is Melanio a quaint Italian restaurant. The food it just outstanding. Service from Paula is professional with a quirky twist. Her friendly sarcasm just cracks me up. I had tomato and basil soup for starters, Lasagne for main- this was by far the best lasagne ive ever had. And ehat van i day about the creme brulee , just needed to be bigger . Overall all tbe food was superb.
