As usual, Maddie her usual happy self and William spent some time talking to my wife and I. He was so pleasant and polite and a lovely, personable member of staff. Thank you! One of our favourite restaurants! Despite how busy they are service is always brilliant and very professional! We were served by a lovely young waitress called Daisy today! Very pleasant, always checking in on all tables and had a smile for every customer! Food was delicious, hot and fresh and I feel the chefs deserve a shout despite not being front of house!

Pesto was extremely busy, they had little staff on and to top it off their card machine was playing up. However, despite this, the food and service was excellent. Our food was hot and delicious. The staff, even with the difficulties they encountered, were professional and provided a friendly , fluster free service. Thank you for a lovely meal!

I am going to start by saying we are locals and come here at least at few times a year. This place is normally a 3.5/4 star - the food and service is always normally ‘good’. This evening we came for a family meal for my mums 51st birthday and the service has improved incredibly compared to our last 5+ visits, and this is down to one server. Today we were served by Paulo - what an excellent server! Our wine was always topped up, he was checking back appropriately to ensure we were having a great experience - he is a credit to this company! The menu has improved too. The new Nduja pasta was so tasty. We can tell staff training has improved since our last visit and we can’t wait to be served by Paulo again!

Ive been countless times. Its simply great. With a varied menu and a simply warm atmosphere, you'd be stupid to not try it. Staff are great, so is the food and drink!

Have always loved and rated this place, have to say was totally let down by the service today. If you get Natalie who is an assistant manage, ask for someone else. From start to finish she was terrible, firstly speaking to my dad like he was from a different planet, pressuring him to order and not giving him more time, then we ended up sat with a table full of plates after we had finished for at least 15 min, when she got around to clearing them she knocked over my boyfroends drink, wiped the liquid off the table on to the floor leaving a puddle under my feet, didn't replace the drink, we had to order another and pay for it, meanwhile the table was left with hald the plates still piled up. We had to ask another server to clear them, along with empty glasses and ask for desert menus. Natalie's incompetence and lack of attention ruined our lunch, its put my dad off from going there again. The food was fab as usual its just a shame we had the female equivalent of Basil Fawlty working our table. Really disappointed.

Pesto @ Cabbage Hall Cotebrook A49 is a popular restaurant.. No complaints about the quality of the food.. But.. There is a "But" Having booked the early evening birthday treat we were seated on a table for two slightly lower level than this large group of overzealous individuals who had little or no control over their vocal volume controller. Hardly an ideal environment to enjoy the offerings laid before us & served by pleasant enough staff. For the record having drove past Cabbage Hall Cotebrook may may time on the way home from work in Nantwich. Thought maybe it's time to give this place a visit, sorry won't be rushing back any time soon. Likes! Food Quality.. Dislikes!! Restaurant Environment.. Seating Area's.. Recommendation.. One of many to mention without being negative ? sort out the sky slope floor covering in the Gents toilet.. Finally folks! If tapas is your delight.. it's okay
Went out for Sunday lunch, and found the atmosphere very calm and inviting. Staff were very friendly and food was served promptly. Food itself was amazing and a huge menu to choose from. A great experience and will go again.

I was served by the ever so lovely Charlotte and she made the whole meal so welcoming for my family and friends that hadn't been there before. Although I have no photos to show the amazing food we all had, it was all very hot and very delicious! I can't fault the place one bit, very hospitable and warm. Food was outstanding and service to match. Would go again in a heartbeat! Thank you very very much for the incredible meal, Matt.

Loved it, staff were very friendly & accommodating & squeezed us in as we hadn't made a booking & it was busy. Food was great, came very fast & service was great. Definitely recommend.

Went here for my Uncles birthday and It was great, I had a spicy prawn dish with pasta. It's great for a nice formal meet up and especially if you like Italian food. For dessert I had the triple cake( three cakes with three different flavors each). Definitely coming again. -Harry:age 11
