Arrived without booking on this occasion as it was our first visit. On entering the building , we were immediately aware of the warm atmosphere created by the decor and roaring fires and ambient lighting. Lee greeted us in a friendly manner and showed us to a suitable table without delay. Within minutes of sitting at our table , Kamara introduced herself as our waitress and quickly took our drinks order. They were quickly delivered and our food order taken. a friendly welcome as we arrived, and excellent service throughout the evening. a lovely atmosphere and excellent food, with plenty to choose from. Staff are all attention and helpful. would highly recommend!

Over the last 10 years we’ve enjoyed meals at the Fishpool as a couple, for birthdays/anniversaries and as a family with young kids. The venue is special, the atmosphere welcoming, staff friendly & attentive, excellent choice of quality drinks and fantastic menu options which are exceptionally executed. You will pay for the privilege of enjoying this place - but then you should, because it’s in the top 3 within 10 miles.
