“11/10 !! First time visiting Cornwall from the east side of London. So I was excited to try pastries that were freshly made and not greggs. Checked alot of places reviews and distance to where am from staying and came across this branch, so decided why not lets give it a go! From the moment I walked in was greeted with a smile and they clocked on im not a local lol. Everyone was super friendly loads of different Pastries, sweet treats and sandwhichs to choose from ! As its not halal i picked my favourite cheese and onion pastry and this pastry changed my life ! Full of flavour and richness the taste of the pastry to the filling was 11/10 and the size was massive too ! The SCONES were fabulous with the clotted cream OMG you need to try this place forget everywhere else in cornwall because trust me throughout my journey i tried other shops nothing came close to this place. I even ended up taking 5 pastries home as they have a huge gift box thing to take home too !”

“St Mabyn Community Shop is the jewel in our village crown; we have a school, a pub, a church and a shop that during the Covid crisis went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met in a safe and efficient way. It has gone from strength to strength and introduces new items on a regular basis. Thank you”
“Nice location. Kept clean and run very well by two young ladies. Coffee served to perfection, clean W/C and seating area, a pleasant visit.”

“Well, what to say first. Simply a great place to go, wasn't the easiest place to find the first time I went there, but well worth it. The owner and staff are so very helpful and happy to see you. Haven't eaten much there, but what I've had was good. The café is upstairs, but if needed there is a stair lift. The place is very Art orientated, with an array of paints and brushes, framing , pictures, cards and more. There is plenty of parking, and seating inside and out. Very picturesque with dog walking close by. I could go on, but I think I will leave you to explore yourself.”
