We visited this lovely little place on Saturday 30 Dec 2023. It had been recommended to us if we were ever in the area and I'm so glad we went ! The Savoury Cream Tea I had was the most delicious plate of food I have eaten in quite some time, soft still warm scones with a slight crisp on the outside, soft cheese, fruity chutney and big old mug of tea ! Comforting and warm with an open fire, great service and also dog friendly. If we lived closer I would be here every weekend !

There was a friendly welcome here, and a warm log fire on a chilly autumn day. We had a good coffee before our walk around the woods, then later returned for tea and a lovely slice of cake each (gluten free for me).

Nice scones, but not everyone wants them hot, especially with clotted cream. Disintegrated when cut, took back for a cold one. Friendly staff. Cuppa good.Parking: Easiest car parking machine I have ever come across. Card only
