“Just had the steaks excellent well cooked to our liking. The peppercorn sauce very nice.Staying at Wooda site and walked down from there only a 8 minute walk well worth it.The staff were lovely and the entertainment was great thank you.”

“Stayed in Marhamchurch for a couple of days and were made to feel welcome but Sam and the locals both nights, as well as Purdey the pub dog on the second night. We stayed at the start of the week when no food was available. This is mitigated but food trucks or the front, and if they aren’t there, the pub is happy for you to get food delivered. Wide range of drinks for a village pub. I would definitely stop in for a drink if I am ever passing again”

“A great local pub doing what pubs do best, Great friendly staff who ensured you had a good stop. Food was good honest pub food, I had the "special", gammon steak and it was special, not too salty, cooked so succulent and moist and a great slice too, no shoe soles here. Portions were fair, I left feeling satisfied. Beer options were a little limited, no IPA here, but it was fresh and tasted good, so no complaints. No music thank goodness, just a good pub atmosphere and enjoyable stop.No pub parking was a limitation, coupled with roadworks outside made it difficult to.find parking, even the town car park just up was pretty full and roadside chocker, so be prepared for a short walk.Food & drinks: Food was good quality basic pub food. The burger was fair as was the lasagne, my highlight was the gammon and egg special.”

“Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in, Lorraine was warm, friendly and very welcoming. Food amazing, absolutely perfect and the lovely Lee was also fantastic, very polite and helpful indeed. We would definitely come back again!”

“Had a roast dinner here on Sunday without booking, walked in and was given a table straight away. The roast dinner was absolutely amazing and good value for money. The staff here are so friendly and it is dog friendly, they provided treats for the dog and was reasonable priced!”

“Came for lunch after the beach. We shared an ultimate kebab which was good (only feedback I’d give is many people will opt for this as a sharer and when it arrives they only put it in one bowl with one bread so would be good to serve it up as if you could share if you wanted to… we had to ask for extra cuttlery and extra plates). Inside it’s a bit run down but the beer garden outside is lovely with views of the sea.”
