“Popped in as staying the in hotel next door, proper old school pub, no chain brand nonsense, decent landlord, couldn’t be more helpful, watched the lioness final, sorted us pizza from the restaurant next door, decent priced and tasting beer. Had no issues with kids. Went out of his way to make you feel welcome. Not many pubs like this left.”
