Amazing first class food. Value for money, really tasty and the prices so reasonable. The gammon was thick and juicy. And the steak pie was tender with no fat. Perfectly cooked veg. It’s so nice to be able to have mash and veg instead of chips. And hot plates which makes all the difference ??
A great local pub doing what pubs do best, Great friendly staff who ensured you had a good stop. Food was good honest pub food, I had the "special", gammon steak and it was special, not too salty, cooked so succulent and moist and a great slice too, no shoe soles here. Portions were fair, I left feeling satisfied. Beer options were a little limited, no IPA here, but it was fresh and tasted good, so no complaints.
