Nice atmosphere inside. Service was a bit mixed, with the staff bluntly refusing my request for a Negroni, and offering me lager instead. I don't understand why, as I definitely saw campari and gin behind the bar...Aside from a few moments like that, it was good. The food was tasty and good value.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly, they provided two highchairs and didn't grumble about occasional disruption...

Food tastes great. The chicken burger was amazing, but the service was extremely slow. We had to wait for an hour just to get some tomato soup served.

Terribly disappointed. We were here a few years ago and the service was professional, all staff smartly dressed, food excellent. Now the staff look scruffy and are sloppy, handing out drinks over the heads of customers and food passed to customers from the other side of the table . Ordering has been reduced to a quick food outlet. Manager was very poor at customer understanding and did not have the meet and greet quality. Food was tepid.

Booked a table in the Brasserie for my wife's 60th Birthday meal whilst on holiday. After being shown to table had to ask for wine menu which was left on table all night. Ordered 2 glasses of wine and a jug of water. Other tables that ordered a bottle of wine had the initial glass of water poured, ours was just placed on the table. A minor thing but noted. The starters we ordered were very large and tasty. Whilst eating this it was noted that hotel residents in the restaurant were being served incorrect orders. Main courses were cooked well and tasted lovely. We did get asked within seconds of them being served if everything was OK. After completing the meal we waited a fair time for a waitress to remove the plates, leaving some items on the table, which we then had to ask to be removed. This was the last time staff came to our table. No one asked if we wanted more drinks or deserts. This went on for 45 mins. During this time we witnessed other diners complaining about the deserts and decided we would not have one and leave. The staff during this time had been busy laying tables for breakfast totally ignoring us. My Wife eventually pointed out no one had been near us and could we please have the bill so we could leave. The staff did apologise, but this honestly was not enough the poor service spoilt what should have been a nice night of celebration for my wife. I would not advise eating in the Brasserie at this time.

Had a lovely evening here with family. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and above all superb food! Bit of a wait for the main course but that's simply evidence of how freshly cooked everything is and was well worth the wait. We were very confused by the "chicken supreme" but the fillets that came out and the accompanying seasoned jus was declared tasty nonetheless! Looking forward to our next visit!
