My daughter and I stayed here for 3 night from 17 th to the 20th. The hotel staff were all friendly without exception and were always attentive. The public rooms were fresh and comfortable . Breakfast was very good with a good selection and cooked to order and came up nice and hot. Our bedroom was large , the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a spa bath and shower which was well presented. Twelve adults and two babies stayed here for a family reunion weekend. We were frequently joined by six other adults and another baby who were staying elsewhere. I had booked a table for 18 for 6 pm. Things went wrong - some group members were held up (rail strikes and a visit to A & E) but the Falcon - dining room staff and kitchen - coped excellently. We visited with my parents for their wedding anniversary and my mums birthday. The gluten free fish was beautiful! Also they brought out my mum’s dessert with a candle and singing happy birthday which was a lovely touch. The staff were great and the place being dog friendly in certain areas is brilliant too! There were two cards left on the table saying happy birthday and happy anniversary which was lovely!
