Came here on Xmas Eve Eve for a quick pub grub! Can see straight away it’s a family pub :) super dog friendly and food was good old comfort food. We had the rump steak and the curry half and half (was spicy but I love spicy food) dog had a water bowl given to her and had lots of fusses from the children there. We would have stayed longer but dog was getting hot by the fire but we were happy with our choice of pubs :)

Well, where to start. We arrived on spec and despite the restaurant section being very busy the staff quickly found us a table with just a short wait. We placed our order for Fish and Chips, which when it arrived was enormous and beautifully presented with salad and peas, it was certainly one of the best if not THE best fish & chips we have ever been served in a pub. The bar has a good selection of beers and ciders served by very friendly staff, there is also a covered outdoor area perfect for families and children. Dogs are welcome and various events including live music and a pub quiz take place regularly. All in all we re unable to fault the venue, the staff or the food and will certainly be visiting again on our next stay in Kilkhampton in the spring of next year.

Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in, Lorraine was warm, friendly and very welcoming. Food amazing, absolutely perfect and the lovely Lee was also fantastic, very polite and helpful indeed. We would definitely come back again!

One of the most enjoyable pubs you can visit. The staff were so welcoming and after meeting the landlord I can see they all follow his lead. Make people happy with good food and good company. The homemade steak and stout pie was better than my mum's!!!As a solo visitor I came out feeling I was welcome any time. A definite must try if you are in the area ?Food & drinks: Good size portion but more importantly great quality food.

Well I can’t agree with the previous review. We are visiting family and booked here for a quick meal in the evening. Service was good. We got a ‘hello how are you’ when we arrived. Food was good. It is pub food but was served all together, hot and perfectly edible. No problems. It was certainly pub food level and that’s reflected in the price but we had no complaints. I thought the service was good - certainly not over fussy as previously described.

Even with a new chief the food is still really bad. Tasteless.And now they have a young boy helping out who is really annoying hovering around when you’re eating a drinking . We have given thus place so many chances but won’t be back again.

Warm welcome, did not have to wait long for our food ordered a Special of Sea Bass and mash which was very nicely cooked and tasty, good portion size. For dessert chocolate and strawberry sponge with a lovely jug of custard which was a real comfort food. We could not fault anything so returned again the following night and again had a really good meal. highly recommend.

Lovely food, welcoming landlady and staff especially the young lad serving as the food fantastic managers for his age ❤️, very accommodating as we had two dogs, with one not being to happy around other dogs they let as chose where we wanted to sit when we got there for comfort for her ? definitely be back when down that way again. Thank you to you all at the London inn for making us feel so welcome x

Little gem with great food and service with a top class team. Didn’t book just called in and the young lady on the bar was so helpful and found us a table. The young man waiting on was a joy. We had excellent service and tasty food. Chicken fajitas came on a sizzling plate with 3 x wraps. Great portion and price. Also dog friendly which is fabulous.
Best breakfast for miles. The full English here takes some beating well presented cooked to perfection and plenty of it. The staff very pleasant and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible. We chose 2 dishes from the "specials options" and both were awful. The slow roasted pork belly was fatty and looked like it was cooked weeks ago and just warmed up. No veg, just a lump of fat on a warm plie of mash covered in jelly. I gave it to the dog!!!

Barstaff and servers were5☆, but the food, however not good, had the HOMEMADE spaghetti bolognaise ,soggy pasta, no sauce .just plain flavourless mince ,had better out of a tin

We visited The London Inn for an evening meal on a Friday. The staff were friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. The food was well cooked and the menu offered a good range of pub meals. It is dog friendly too and we will certainly visit again. We had a lovely meal and would recommend.
