Well, where to start. We arrived on spec and despite the restaurant section being very busy the staff quickly found us a table with just a short wait. We placed our order for Fish and Chips, which when it arrived was enormous and beautifully presented with salad and peas, it was certainly one of the best if not THE best fish & chips we have ever been served in a pub. Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in, Lorraine was warm, friendly and very welcoming. Food amazing, absolutely perfect and the lovely Lee was also fantastic, very polite and helpful indeed. We would definitely come back again!

Came here on Xmas Eve Eve for a quick pub grub! Can see straight away it’s a family pub :) super dog friendly and food was good old comfort food. We had the rump steak and the curry half and half (was spicy but I love spicy food) dog had a water bowl given to her and had lots of fusses from the children there. We would have stayed longer but dog was getting hot by the fire but we were happy with our choice of pubs :)
