Very generous portions. There is plenty of choice and variety. Will go again. The only downside was that it was foggy, and we could not see the view.

The Engine House has become our definite port of call for lunches. Easy parking, plenty of table covers (booking sometimes needed however at busy times), good and prompt service, very pleasant staff, very decent food at a good price - what's not to like.

As its Christmas it was very busy. I was with a large group and didn't have the set meal. My jacket potato was just warm but I didn't complain.It was also too hot, the waitress did open some windows, it didn't relieve the pink faces!

Came to have the Christmas dinner. We had the three course menu, and it didn't disappoint. Excellent food, lovely staff, great service. I have been there a few times, and it never fails to impress. Well done.
