Calli Pizza Cafe
19, Pannier Market, Fore St, CallingtonWe celebrated New Year’s Eve here last night. We have been many times before for their amazing pizzas, but last night was not a pizza night. During the course of a friendly and relaxed evening, we enjoyed what I would describe as a Flavour Fest. Following a welcoming rum punch and nibbles, I had a herbed goats cheese soufflé with home made chilli tomato chutney to start, which was superb! My dining companions enjoyed the ham hock terrine. For the main course, my fellow diners had beef wellington, which they said was spot on. I decided to have the pheasant breast stuffed with black pudding and wrapped in prosciutto. WOW! What a combination of flavours. I can’t stop reliving it in my mind. All this was accompanied by perfectly prepared vegetables and creamy garlic potatoes to die for. We all finished with crepes suzette with ginger ice cream - heaven! We were far too full to go on to the cheese and biscuits. Thank you Jane and T for an amazing evening ?

38 Fore St, CallingtonBrilliant food, very very clean pub. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Excellent service and prices we're really reasonably. Something on the menu for everyone. Fitted us in with a table for 6 at very short notice ! We frequent a lot but only get a chance to eat innow and again but we shall be eating in more from now on.

Could have been hotter but it was delicious and authentic so I can't knock it. Authentic Mexican street food in rural Cornwall. I don't think you'll regret trying them

We had quite the selection and all the food was lovely, one of our dishes were missed in our order, called the shop and it was delivered within 20 minutes. One of the nicest chineses we've ever had.

Kitchen closes at 8pm on Monday but they waited for us and the food was superb. Both of us had surf & turf, both steaks were cooked with care; one well done the other rare. Fabulous. Definitely 10/10 for our visit. First visit there but won't be our last. Thanks to the whole team.

39 Fore St, CallingtonWe're staying at a holiday village nearby. Several outlets took our order, then cancelled them. Locals at the bar we were at recommended Castle Chicken, now I do to. Food arrived when it was supposed to, and order was exact. All top quality. Quick tip: if the website says they can't deliver, give them a call. They are most accommodating.

The Blue Chip
30a Fore St, CallingtonI didn’t read the reviews until my friend was inside purchasing, then was worried, as reviews seemed awful. HOWEVER. I think that was when they were still The Fish Bar, or very recently become Blue Chip. The chips were REALLY good, the fish really nice, fish cake nice. Large fish/chips, fish cake/chips/peas all cost £19. Only reason 4 instead of 5 star review, is that the staff could have been more welcoming. Saturday 16th December.
