Great place for a meal and a quiet drink.

We booked a table for 7.45pm but realised we would be late getting there. Rang up to advise & they were really nice about it. Kitchen closes at 8pm on Monday but they waited for us and the food was superb. Both of us had surf & turf, both steaks were cooked with care; one well done the other rare. Fabulous. Definitely 10/10 for our visit. First visit there but won't be our last. Thanks to the whole team.

Very disappointing - bar staff did not welcome us, made us feel unwanted - no smile. Mistakes were made with our order. The food was very poorly presented. Right through we felt as if we were a nuisance. Bar staff appeared to spent their time flirting with male customers. Such a shame as we used to enjoy our lunches at the Swingletree before the revamp and apparent lack of management. We love the revamp but missed the previous staff.

All 5 of us enjoyed our meals. It was quiet when we went in, which was nice, and staff were friendly. We would definitely recommend, and will be back.

Extremely friendly service and excellent food. The steak and ale pie was quite simply the best I've ever had!Kid-friendliness: Our granddaughter aged nine really enjoyed herself!

Not the best food but fulfilled a need when we were hungry.

Great little pub with 2 children’s play areas that caters for all ages. Large carpark and a central location. Lots of seating indoors and outside. Good selection of drinks available. Good stop to break the journey. Last time I visited this place was 2002!

Didn't have any food, just stopped for a quick drink. Very pleasantly surprised has gone through a refurbishment and new management since we last went in several years ago. A lovely warm welcome from management and customers. Nice and bright great atmosphere beer tasted great. Will be going back to try the food as the menus looked good. ?

Went on a Sunday. Make sure you book for food. It gets very busy.

Food tasted good but the atmosphere was non-existent. It's a shame as it looks nice from the outside. Unlikely to go back. They have a doggy station outside so I'm assuming dogs are allowed inside but we never went in just sat outside as the weather was nice.
