We visited for dinner and breakfast whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door. It was very busy when we visited for dinner, but I felt the staff coped extremely well, despite being rushed off their feet. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming to us at all times. Our meals were served quickly despite how busy it was. All the starters and main meals were delicious and plentiful. The drinks we ordered were also very good, and the cocktails were much needed after we had attended a funeral nearby earlier in the day. After dinner, I ordered more drinks from the bar and once again, the staff member serving me was very friendly and kind. I think from some of these reviews that some customers really need to show the staff a little kindness and empathy! Breakfast the next morning was excellent also. This was a really welcome and positive experience at the Trevithick Inn! Thank you to the staff for looking after us all so well!

Breakfast… for value…it’s ok but the quality has been getting progressively worse over the years to the point where I’m not going back again. Will start with fried eggs there generally like snot and that’s being kind… todays effort was the worse excuse of a fried eye I have seen and my mrs picked the best ones, they run out of sausages so there were pigs in blankets which to be fair were ok… the bacon was as bad as ever like an old leather boot… hash browns were ok as were mushrooms and tomato, black pudding was inedible normally greasy mush which I have got used to but today it was like a piece of tarmac… it’s doesn’t feel clean… I’m not fussed by that but they seriously need to sort out the cooking of items and keep them well stocked… there was a lot of people in there as there normally is… I bet 90% were thinking the same about the quality… it’s great for kids but not for adults…

We arrived and waited to be seated, waited about 5 minutes, eventually somebody came and showed us to our table. A nice waiter came and took our drinks order. We were told they didn’t have any sausages and hotdog buns, our food arrived it was all delicious and nothing much was left on our plates, we ordered dessert, which again was very tasty. I would recommend this place.

The meal was lovely. Our server Chloe was very attentive. If there were any problems along the way Chloe let us know. There were four of us at our table and it was a really nice evening ?

Called in here for a breakfast with 2 of my daughters (aged 5 and 10) this morning, could have gone anywhere but so glad that we came here. With the all you can eat adult breakfast 2 children can eat for free which is outstanding value. There was a good, varied range of food which was tasty, freshly cooked and of a great standard.Sarah, the lady who served us was really helpful and polite and lovely with the kids. When she found out that it was my daughter’s birthday she brought a card from the staff to the table and some lovely little presents. Staff like this are a real asset to any business. In summary a fantastic place that we will definitely be making regular visits to from now on.

We had a strange greeting upon arrival, we could see our family seated so told the staff that was our table and got an "oh I dunno" reply? Service was poor and took a LONG time, they only had two or three serving staff despite it being Xmas season and the fact that most people would have booked ahead so that is poor from table table. We were told that one staff member had called in sick which can't be helped but they still needed a larger number of serving staff for the amount of bookings they had taken on. The poor couple next to us must have been waiting nearly 2 hours to receive their food. All very strange. The food was tasteless, dry and seemed like it had just been warmed up. There was also no christmas atmosphere and the kids were bored as no activity sheets provided etc. I would highly recommend coppercoast instead.

Absolutely vile, car park got litter all over the place, fag butts all outside the entrance to the building, loads of empty mugs etc outside. Then when we got inside that’s where the real jokes happen. Waited over 30 minutes for our roasts which were absolutely vile. Not even edible, the meats were so over done and not edible. I wouldn’t even give that to my dog. The potatoes were so over cooked it was just mash in a soggy skin. Not to mention the piece of unidentifiable food that was turned to charcoal amongst the over done vegetables. We asked the waitress for some fresh edible meat as I picked up a piece of beef which held its form instead of flopping about along with the gammon that looked like crispy bacon. She came back with some but by that time we’d discovered how disgusting and over done the rest of the food was and I gave my whole meal back to the waitress who stormed off not even apologising etc. maybe the “chefs” gave her a bit of grief about it. After this we just walked out, no one even stopped us or said anything like as if they have this happen on a regular basis. It’s clear they are understaffed and they seem to be at a point where they stoped caring and are just trynna get through the day. Not sure what to comment about the kitchen staff but they clearly need retraining or to find a different career path. At least we learnt to never go in this absolute dump of a place again!

Very good value food and drinks, especially so re festive lunch. Good portions and reliable quality.Service can be unreliable - partly under resourced and partly lack of interest it seems. Waited ages to get drinks at bar even though no queue, long wait for one of courses and nobody at bar/till for ages when trying to pay after meal. That said, the place is massive, smart layout that is an inviting and comfortable. Loads of parking as well.

Been to lots of Table Tables but the staff especially Sarah and the tall barman were exceptional. We visited on Dec 13th. Extremely friendly and welcoming and seemed to love their jobs so much. Food was the usual Table Table, well cooked and good value but the staff are what stood out especially as you rarely experience this these days! Thankyou!

We were welcomed by Amber, and shown to a table, we ordered off the festive menu and opted for Turkey, and extra pigs in blankets & cauliflower cheese. Food was nice, but root mash not to our taste. And two of us didn't like the roast potatoes, they tasted like they'd been fried, and weren't fluffy. But overall, the festive lights & nice welcome from Amy & her good customer service. We enjoyed our experience. And the profiteroles & Orande match stick sundae were delicious, even better if you share and dunk the profiteroles in the orange sauce ......yummy.
