King Edward Mine Museum, Troon, CamborneMy first time trying the Croust Hut today and I'm extremely impressed. Excellent value for money and this isn't compromising on the fresh, high quality ingredients and substantial portions. They should be charging a lot more. The burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. Flavourful and moist but not greasy. I feel like I've had a healthy meal. You absolutely must go down and try them and completely boycott McDonald's.

Delight 2 Bite
30 Cross St, CamborneVisited this little spot while I was waiting for Scissor Sisters to open for my haircut yesterday. Was pleasantly suprised with the quant atmosphere of the place! I had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini which was divine as I expected and I couldn't decide between the cakes so after recommendation I went with having both the Butterscotch Tart in house and then took away a blueberry sponge Cake of sorts which I had today and it was delicious! Will definitely be back again! ??

Old Shire Inn, The, Pendarves Rd, CamborneSecond visit in a week, both times really enjoyable, the staff are confident and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was given a bowl of roast beef bits, impressive desserts and food was excellent. Dog friendly, baby friendly, large car park, beer garden.

St Michaels Mount Inn
9 Fore St, CamborneWe didn’t eat so I can’t rate that. I couldn’t put my finger on it but it lacked atmosphere. Maybe it was the radio playing in the bar and maybe that’s not on in the evenings but daytime wine with radio adverts in the back ground is just not a vibe sorry. The landlord was friendly though.

Premier Inn Camborne hotel
Treswithian Rd, Cambornethank you to the 2 ladies in reception who were dealing with pure chaos during storm Goretti.on arrival the hotel and large parts of the surrounding area had no power. they knew the storm and possible powercuts would take down their booking systems. they extracted the data they needed before the power cut using good old fashioned pen and paper ensuring people who had pre booked and people that hadn't were all checked in with minimum fuss. their efforts kept a lot of people safe in very dangerous situation. well done ladies and thank you once again.

Commercial St, CamborneI really like this wetherspoons, one of the best in Cornwall. And, unusually, toilets on ground floor.
Its a biggish spoons, and has the advantage that tables aren't crammed together, overly tight.
It also has a yard in the back, with flower baskets, which when in condition look stunning.
I've eaten various meals here, the pizza, the curry, the mixed grill (now discontinued)

St Aubyn Arms
The Square, Praze-an-Beeble, CamborneWe had a meal here again tonight, the first for quite some time. Previously they wouldn’t allow dogs into the restaurant, admittedly some time ago, so we didn’t go back anymore.
The rules seem to have changed now and this time dogs were welcome which is great for us as it’s our local.
The food was very nice, can’t fault it.
It’s Definitely more dog friendly than the last time we came, just like a country pub should be so will likely go more often now.

27 Commercial St, CamborneWe got a room the day after storm Goretti had rendered our previous accommodation virtually uninhabitable, and the staff were more than happy to let us in for the night. Excellent service by the workers, and the room was a lovely sight after a night of no electricity and signal! My only complaint would be the loudness of the live music, but we were well aware that the night would bring it. The breakfast that was included with our was tasty and warm, which is all we could ask for. Thank you!

The room itself was comfortable, clean, and cozy, making it a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring. One thing to note is that the bathroom and toilet are shared, which might be a consideration for some guests. While this wasn’t a major issue for us, it’s worth knowing ahead of time. The facilities were well-maintained, and we never had to wait long to use them, which helped make the shared setup more manageable.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We appreciated their helpfulness and the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.
All in all, our stay at The Vyvyan Arms Hotel was comfortable and enjoyable. If you don’t mind the shared bathroom arrangement and want a hotel with a great breakfast and friendly service, this is a solid choice.

Coming from Haringey, known for its kebabs, we didn't have high expectations for Cornwall, but this establishment exceeded them with an outstanding experience. The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection, with wonderfully preserved flavors.
Next day,we initially planned to try Dominions, but we ended up ordering pizza from here instead, and it was an excellent choice. This restaurant truly deserves accolades for its quality. Thank you to the chef for such a memorable meal. We look forward to returning in September!

I ordered a few days ago and I'm allergic to mushrooms yet I ordered chicken chow mein which has it yet I forgot to say no mushrooms. The chef inside remembered my habit and double checked by calling me back potentially saving me from an allergic reaction. I'm very grateful and their food is always scrumptious I've told a lot of my friends I know and they should definitely try here sometime.

62 Trelowarren St, CamborneThese guys have been delivering great food quickly and reliably for years, but I’ve never thought to leave a review until today. I ordered a pizza and thought the toppings were wrong, so I called to complain — turns out it was my mistake! I’d accidentally ordered the wrong one.
They had even tried to call me before delivery (since they know what I usually order), but I missed the call — totally my fault. I apologised and thanked them anyway, and to my surprise, they sent me another pizza regardless!
