“We always love to visit Brown Sugar a few times on our holidays in Fowey for coffee, brunch or lunch. We had their afternoon tea with scones for the first time and they were delicious.

The scones were warm, the clotted cream was plentiful and the homemade jam was the best we've ever had!”

“Lovely staff and delicious fudge! I was recommended by a friend so I decided to pop in. They had a variety of flavours available in bags or by weight. We tried some christmas pudding fudge and had to buy it. They even offered us a few free bags of fudge that “weren’t good enough to sell” (they were absolutely delicious though!!) 10/10 Would recommend ??”

“Very good ….. fabulous views from pretty much every part of the hotel….. friendly welcoming staff, and even the new recruits seem eager to please…. The bar manager is a true gent, very knowledgeable and can mix a mean cocktail…… we brought our (not so well behaved) dog and she was still made to feel welcome……. Worth noting it’s well worth pre booking your parking space and if you plan to eat in restaurant again pre book. Continental breakfast is good, space again is limited so you can pre book a table time slot the night before……… a noticeable improvement in service over their sister hotel in padstow and on par with their Salcombe hotel…. We will be back”

“Absolutely fantastic meal at Sam's!! Atlantic cod and chips, king prawn scampi and burgers, everything was perfect. We had a roof top terrace table which was just perfect. Excellent service, the staff could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back”
