Popped in for some dinner after Soa day and the lasagne was amazing, stir fry with bubbles burger was sublime and the relish - could be bottled! Ed was amazing and so friendly fitting us in despite being booked .
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at Sam’s. The range of dishes on the menu is good, plus specials, and the service was friendly and attentive . We shared garlic bread, olives, hummus and french stick to start, followed by bouillabaisse and pork schnitzel, which were delicious. The only disappointment was that the overriding flavour of the bouillabaisse sauce was chilli, and not fennel as I expected, so unfortunately it lacked the traditional taste. We rang a couple of hours ahead of our visit , to check if it was ok to bring a dog . We were seated a little way away from another family as it was fairly quiet . I was so pleasantly surprised to have such good seafood, cooked to perfection, it’s the best meal out I have had for a couple of years. My dog was well behaved so no problem. We were well behaved, and the service was amazing, thank you !
